Video - Some good book recommendations by the lovely Lex

Five highly recommended books, starting with the winner of the 2006 Orange Prize for fiction

The lovely Lex Croucher (TyrannosaurusLexxx on YouTube) has some good book recommendations for us! So here they are, without further ado: 1) On Beauty by Zadie Smith, winner of the 2006 Orange Prize for fiction, from the celebrated author of White Teeth. 2) How To Be Both by Ali Smith, winner of the Baileys Women's Prize for Fiction. 3) The Tiger's Wife by Téa Obreht, national book award finalist and New York Times bestseller. 4) Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith, the third - and best - novel in the engaging Cormoran Strike private detective series. 5) We Have Always Lived In The Castle by Shirley Jackson, a deliciously and unsettling novel about a perverse, isolated, and possibly murderous family. Lex Croucher is a YouTube vlogger from Kingston upon Thames, England. She started YouTube in June 2010, is a vegan and strongly believes in animal rights. And she reads a lot of books!
